The Bathurst City & RSL Band Association has a proud 140-year history of enriching our community through music. We offer a diverse range of musical experiences through three distinct bands:

Our main showcase band performs at key community events such as ANZAC Day, Proclamation Day, Australia Day, and Remembrance Day, as well as charity functions and celebrations.

The Bathurst City & RSL Youth Band highlights the talent of young musicians from local schools, providing them with valuable performance opportunities and fostering their love for music.

The Chifley Band invites those with past musical experience to reconnect with their passion in a supportive, relaxed environment, encouraging players to rediscover the joy of making music.
We actively contribute to Bathurst's cultural life, performing at events like the Twilight Concert at Brucedale, the Spring Spectacular, Carols by Candlelight, and more. Our strong reputation in the region is built on our commitment to quality music and community engagement. Supported by the Bathurst RSL Sub-Branch, the Bathurst Regional Council and the Hon. Paul Toole as our patron, we are a friendly music community welcoming musicians of all ages and abilities. Join us to share in the joy of music!
